Getting into the rabbit hole

About...

Born in Brooklyn, this African-American with a rebellious temperament left school when she was a teenager to devote herself to her passion: art. Her personal graffitis were quickly noticed for their tribal signs and naïve characters. Criticizing consumerism and the exclusion of ethnic communities, Basquiat has his first exhibition at the age of 21. This remarkable arrival brought her to the forefront of the art scene.

Plain and simple...

A little of me...

About my background?

I have won several prizes in multiple expositions hold in different cultural centers and museums, I have been continuously evolving my techniques as you can see following my different artworks during my 10 years of career, they are based in Junk Art, Recycling and Pop Art between others, I am actually exploring this new universe of digital art with NFTs trough blockchain.

Why I do what I do?

I do it first because I love it, I used to visualize an Italian painter painting the Eiffel Tower when I was only 5 years old in the preschool. I also see this as a hobby and it and it gives me a feeling of happiness by capturing everything that I imagine and / or comes to my mind on paper or canvas and I can shape it by giving my works a personal touch.

How do I create?

My creations begin in my mind when the muse comes to me, that is, at certain times of the day inspiration comes to me and my mind begins to create, based on images that come to me, and then I shape them with a pencil on paper, many times the ideas continue to flow and change as I begin to paint with my brushes and I am applying colors and shapes to them, to give feelings of happiness to my works, in them I capture good positive energies and a combination of colors that harmonize.

Interview me...

Over time I have perfected my use of the brush, as well as the use of color and shapes when making my works, every time I paint a new work of art, it is a constant practice for my imagination and a way to see which ones. techniques or styles I can apply, I am always in constant change and I like to innovate with new styles.

I like many, however I feel more identified with 5: Carlos Cruz Diez (Kinetic Art), Vincent Van Gogh (Impressionism), Jane Perkins (Junk Art - recycling), Andy Warhol (Pop Art), Vasili Kandinsky (Abstract Art).

"The Starry Night" by Vincent Van Gogh
And of my works my favorite is "Robotics"

Even the simplest thing I consider inspires me, life itself is a great inspiration, the colors, the sounds, the people I love and the simple fact of going out for a walk under the beautiful sky feeling the wind and seeing how all the colors change. Just that and the world of my imagination are enough to inspire me.

There are many happy memories of my life, one of them when I went to the beach on vacation with my family to the island of Aruba, and to the beaches in Villa Marina, Falcón state, Venezuela.
Also when I have had my art exhibitions, and see what people like.
When my dad shoots videos and some bloopers come out.
When I bathe in the rain for the first time.

What I like the most about my work as an artist is to be able to show my positive energy, to see how people see different ways or give different meanings to my works and also to be able to enjoy creating something new to innovate and above all to get over it. my limits and see how far I can go.

The financing of the Arts is very important for Museums, Theaters, Galleries and Fine Arts Centers since they can contribute to pay a percentage of their maintenance costs and help promote emerging artists who want to make themselves known to through his works. And if there is good financing this creates jobs, encourages expenses and attracts tourists. Art has excellent economic effects. Cultural investment is an important driver in urban regeneration. In addition to the fact that through the arts part of the culture and identity of a country is made known, including its evolution, its social and economic history.

The superpower that I would like to have would be to fly, because from the top of the sky I will be able to have another angle to see and appreciate this world, however, when I paint I already have another perspective of this world and in my opinion it is wonderful.

I love swimming and feeling the water. Because it relaxes me, I feel free when floating, and why I like the sound of waves or water falling like a waterfall.
I love running because I feel free, I feel the wind, it fills me with adrenaline and I also exercise my body.

I do not like bullying because I do not agree with physical or verbal abuse towards other people.

My dream project could be to make myself known worldwide through different media and / or virtual exhibitions since the Pandemic allows it in this new normal, and that my works that are in the world of NFTs are to the taste of the vast majority of art and digital art collectors and buy them for their private or personal collections.

My favorite place is in my home, or any place where there is silence, tranquility and comfort, where I can listen to music while having a view to the outside, and thus my imagination flows freely.

Have discipline, practice and create constantly.

My professional goal is to exhibit my works in different museums, galleries or art centers internationally in different countries of the world.

"Imagination, Passion and Discipline".
